Wedge-type scaffolding belongs to socket-type steel tube scaffolding, which connects the sockets on vertical poles and the plugs on horizontal poles by wedge-shaped pins.
The main components of this scaffolding system consist of vertical poles, horizontal poles, diagonal tie rods, adjustable base jacks, scaffolding planks, adjustable wall connectors, and tripod brackets. All components have been optimized for lightweight design, with the weight of a single piece not exceeding 14 kg, which can be easily lifted by one person, thus greatly improving work efficiency.
Its design principle is that the wide-body wedge-shaped plugs at both ends of the horizontal poles perfectly fit into the wide-body wedge-shaped slots of the vertical poles when struck with a hammer. This design enhances the anti-torsion capacity of the joints and ensures more reliable stability of the whole structure.
